Nobody likes exposition

But when you have information that you just have to get across to the audience, what’s the best way to give exposition without completely killing the momentum of your story with a huge exposition dump?

2014 Academy Awards Nominations Are Here!

And the Oscar race is on! Today, the Academy released their nominations for the 2014 Academy Awards. The complete list is below.

The biggest shock to me was that Tom Hanks didn’t receive a nomination for either of his films this past year – Saving Mr. Banks or Captain Philips (despite the latter getting a Best Picture nod), but what do you think?
