About Me

Brad Johnson

Simply put, I’m a writer of things – a film lover – a firm believer in the power of storytelling.

Though I spend my days skulking through the real world as a Marketing professional, my nights are spent here on ReadWatchWrite.

I’m an experienced (if unproduced) screenwriter, and my scripts have reached the semi-finals in Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest, and a second place finish for the Walt Disney Screenwriting Fellowship.,

I have also been lucky enough to part of some amazing projects and opportunities.

In addition to being a reader for the Nashville Film Festival and judging the NYC Midnight Screenwriting Challenge, I’ve also been a producer on the short film Tesla versus Cthulhu (2014), and a production assistant on My Boring Zombie Apocalypse (2011).

As a regular contributor to Script Magazine, my Specs and the City column (get a look at the complete list of topics here) discussed methods for beginners and pros alike to improve their writing.
